Bogor Mayor, Dedie A. Rachim has received the results of an examination by the Bogor City Regional Health Laboratory (Labkesda) from an examination of the food remains of the alleged poisoning in the free nutritious food program (MBG).

Based on the results of the examination of food samples in the form of rice, cow eye eggs, tofu, tumis toge and several other ingredients that have been carried out for the last 4 days, the results show that some of these ingredients actually contain e.coli and salmonella bacteria.

"The e.coli and salmonella bacteria were obtained from two types of food served to students, resulting in more than 200 students being affected," said Dedie A. Rachim when confirmed by the media crew at the Bogor Mayor's Office House, Monday, May 12.

For other additional examinations in the form of water and direct examination of the bodies of students who must be examined more deeply, the results are not yet known.

From the results of the examination of the affected students, the Bogor City Government (Pemkot) emphasized that in the future similar incidents should not happen again.

"We also ask that maybe the SOP is even tighter, and maybe also supervision, so don't take it lightly because we think this is something very serious, considering that when it was affected by the alleged food poisoning, the Bogor City Government had to participate, especially in medical treatment," said Dedie Rachim.

So, after the incident, the Bogor City Government issued an extraordinary event (KLB) warning to ensure that medical treatment at hospitals throughout the city of Bogor could be handled by the Bogor City APBD.

"The point is that this is our shared responsibility, in the future we must fix it and it should not happen again, because this really has to be our common concern," said Dedie Rachim.

Currently, continued Dedie Rachim, there are still students being treated, but the number continues to decline because the condition of the students is getting better.
