JAKARTA - The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) through his team of attorneys handed over original high school diplomas and universities (student) to the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.
Jokowi's attorney, Yakup Hasibuan, said the handover was in the context of a complaint from the Head of the Ulama Defenders Team and Activist (TPUA) Eggi Sudjana regarding the alleged fake Jokowi's undergraduate diploma.
"Today we have submitted everything (ijazah) to the Criminal Investigation Department for follow-up, for forensic laboratory testing," he said at the Police Criminal Investigation Building, Jakarta, Friday, May 9, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said that the original diploma was brought directly by representatives of Jokowi's family, namely Wahyudi Andrianto as the sister-in-law or sister of Iriana Jokowi, because it is a sensitive document.
