So The Mainstay Of Citizen Complaints, Pramono Offers Karawang Regency Government To Learn To Create An Application Similar To JAKI

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung offered the Karawang Regency Government to study the development of the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application, which is the mainstay of residents as a complaint channel to the DKI Provincial Government.

The DKI Provincial Government, said Pramono, will facilitate the Karawang Regency Government in making applications similar to JAKI for free.

This was conveyed by Pramono to the Regent of Karawang Aep Syaepuloh during the rice harvest activity for the contract farming program in Kutawargi Village, Rawamerta District, Karawang Regency.

"In particular, we offer to the Regent and his staff, if you want to learn JAKI, it's free, sir. But later if you want to install the payment yourself, but the full learning from us is free," said Pramono, Tuesday, May 6.

The JAKI application was originally launched in 2019, during the leadership of former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. JAKI was developed as a one-door service to help people's daily lives.

The JAKI application was developed by the Jakarta Smart City Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) which is under the DKI Jakarta Provincial Communication, Information and Statistics Office.

Usually, Jakarta residents submit complaints or reports on the condition of public facilities and public services that need to be handled in Jakarta. According to Pramono, currently many Jakarta residents often use JAKI for government service needs.

"JAKI is an application in the Jakarta government, which is currently almost 93 percent of the Jakarta community's activities are monitored through JAKI. In fact, we even have a smart city, we know where there are, for example, Congestion, there are brawls, and even other things," said Pramono.

"I am sure it will be very useful because the Lampung government and several local governments yesterday have (studyed) as well. In this week, if I'm not mistaken, North Maluku and so on," he added.

Responding to this, Karawang Regent Aep Syaepuloh admitted that his party was ready to study and adapt the use of JAKI to serve the needs of its citizens.

"JAKI ini sudah sangat luar biasa, sebenarnya kabupaten lain juga sudah, Lampung sudah ke DKI juga, karena kita kan sama-sama bupati. Insyaallah ini akan kita aplikasi," papar Aep.
