Officer Cut The Semrawut Air Cable Belonging To 25 Operators In Lubang Buaya/ Photo; IST

East Jakarta Highways Sub-Department officers cut the fiber optic cable belonging to 25 chaotic operators along Jalan Raya Pondok Gede, Lubang Buaya, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, Tuesday (29/4) afternoon.

The cuts were carried out along two kilometers as part of the arrangement of the area which is often the location of state activities.

"We cut it along 2 km and consist of 25 operators. We maintain this area and organize it because it is often used for state events," said Head of the East Jakarta Highways Sub-dept., Benhard Hutajulu, at the location.

Benhard explained that the aerial cable that was cut previously was in a chaotic condition and disrupted the area's aesthetics. This control also involved the Telecommunication Network Organizing Association (Apjatel).

"We and Apjatel are carrying out cable screening in the East Jakarta area, currently in the Pancasila Sakti Monument area. So today we are moving together with friends from the Lubang Buaya monument," he said.

Furthermore, Benhard said, this arrangement is part of the East Jakarta City Government's efforts to support Jakarta's vision as a Global City.

After the arrangement at Lubang Buaya, the Bina Marga Sub-Department will also target other areas such as Pondok Kelapa, Milling, and Pulogebang which are located around the East Jakarta Mayor's Office.
