SULBAR - The Mamuju Immigration Office secured three foreign nationals (WNA) from China who were in the mining area of Pasangkayu Regency, West Sulawesi (Sulbar). All three are suspected of violating immigration administration.
Three Chinese foreigners with the initials ZZ, WZ, and HZ are currently at the Mamuju Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim).
"We have secured the three foreigners from China because they are in the Pasangkayu Regency area, while the immigration documents for their working area are in Jakarta," said Head of the Mamuju V Yosan Anggara Class II Immigration Office in Mamuju, to reporters in Mamuju, Friday, April 25, as reported by Antara.
Yosan continued, of the three foreigners, two of them have Limited Stay Permit Card (KITAS) documents as investors and one person has a work permit card as a director's operation with the work area of West Jakarta (Jakbar).
"When the team came to the mine site in Bambakoro Village, Larang District, Pasangkayu Regency, the three were carrying out mining activities. So, we then carried out an in-depth investigation regarding immigration documents and other documents," explained Yosan.
From the results of the examination, Yosan continued, it was found that there was a discrepancy between the work location and the guarantor company or sponsors of the three foreigners from China.
Yosan revealed that during the examination of foreigners from China, the three of them were not cooperative, so the Mamuju Immigration Office team immediately detained them at the Immigration Detention Center.
"We are still waiting for sponsors or guarantor companies from the three foreigners. The summons for examination of the three foreigners' sponsors is scheduled for today, but until now they have not fulfilled the summons," said Yosan.
