Saifullah said that President Prabowo Subianto asked the Ministry of Social Affairs to take systematic steps to improve people's welfare through close collaboration between the central and regional governments. One of them is realized in the form of a People's School which is designed as a free educational institution for children from prosperous families.

He also reviewed the classroom facilities to the dormitory rooms that will be used by the students. "Look at all the children, they seem all excited. Their parents have also committed to providing full support for the teaching and learning process for their children at this People's School," he said.

The People's School at the Baturraden Center will open a junior high school level for the 2025/2026 school year, with two study groups consisting of a total of 50 students. "But next year, God willing, we will be able to accept all levels: elementary, junior high, and high school," added the Minister of Social Affairs.

The Regent of Banyumas, Sadowo Tri Lastiono, welcomed this initiative positively and appealed to parents to fully support their children's education. "So mothers, fathers, must support their children to go to school, it's high," he said.

The People's School Program is expected to be a concrete solution in breaking the chain of structural poverty by providing access to decent education, boarding schools, and fully borne by the state for underprivileged families.
