JAKARTA - Residents of Gang Merpati, Menteng Dalam, Tebet, Yunus revealed the condition of the victim of theft who was allegedly shot using a firearm (senpi) while rescuing his motorbike when it was about to be stolen by the two perpetrators. The victim had to be subjected to surgery at RSCM, Central Jakarta.

"We take it to the hospital for direct surgery. Because it penetrates from the groin to the hips," said Yunus when met at the location, Sunday, April 20.

When asked about the chronology of the incident, Yunus admitted that he did not know more. Because at the time of the incident, he only saw the victim who was lying after being shot by the perpetrator of the theft.

He admitted that he only took the victim by motorbike to the hospital. The goal is to save the victim.

"We immediately rushed to the hospital. At the hospital we took a motorbike. It turned out that the motorbike was made by a thief. I also don't know. I immediately left. For fear of life. Because it was life based on life," said Yunus.

On his occasion, Yunus hoped that the police would immediately follow up on events that occurred in his environment. The goal is to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

"Immediately follow up, the perpetrators will be arrested quickly. Because we as citizens are worried," said Yunus.

Previously, the police were investigating a motorcycle theft case that resulted in the victim with the initials MT suffering a gunshot wound. The incident occurred on Jalan Gang Merpati IV, Tebet, South Jakarta, Sunday, April 20.

A number of witnesses to CCTV have also been examined, in order to reveal the identities of the two perpetrators.

Tebet Police Chief, Kompol Murohih admitted that when the CCTV incident occurred at the location was slightly blocked, so the face of the perpetrator was not clear.

Nevertheless, he ensured that the two perpetrators would soon be arrested, so that a similar incident would not happen again.
