Police Thwart The Circulation Of 10 Kg Of Methamphetamine At PIK, North Jakarta

The police thwarted the circulation of 10 kilograms of methamphetamine (Kg) in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, North Jakarta, Saturday, April 19 afternoon.

"The total evidence that was secured was 10 kg of crystal methamphetamine, 2 units of cellphones and motorbikes," said Head of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Narcotics Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police, AKBP Ade Chandra in his statement, Sunday, April 20.

He explained that this disclosure began with public information regarding the activity of a woman who was suspected of being a drug dealer under the pseudonym Kaka.

The police, who received the information, immediately moved quickly by conducting an investigation until they finally arrested a drug courier with the initials S on the side of Jalan Iskandar Muda, Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency.

From the results of the interrogation, officers received information about a larger amount of methamphetamine storage in the Tangerang area.

Hearing this, his party carried out a further search by witnessed by local security officers in one of the 38th floor units of the PIK 2 apartment area.

"Successfully found 8 large bags and 6 bags of methamphetamine weighing a total of more than 8 kilograms," said Ade Chandra.

Currently, drug couriers with the initials S and evidence have been taken to the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police. The goal is for further action.

Meanwhile, the supplier of the illicit goods with the vague name Kaka is being hunted by his party. The goal is to eradicate drug trafficking in his jurisdiction.

"Ditresnarkoba is hunting for a DPO (wanted list) with the initials K," he said.
