Many Empty Positions In The DKI Provincial Government, DPRD Asks Pramono Not To Import Officials

JAKARTA - Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD responded to the vacancy of a number of functional positions within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Since the era of former Acting Governors of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono and Teguh Setyabudi, continuing to the current Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung, a number of vacant positions due to the rotation of officials, retirement, and death.

Some of them are the Head of the DKI Communication, Information and Statistics Agency (Diskominfotik), the Mayor of East Jakarta, the Regent of the Thousand Islands, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), to the Head of the DKI Jakarta Water Resources Service (SDA) who is now the executor of the task (plt).

From this vacancy, the Chairman of Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Inggad Joshua, reminded Pramono not to import officials from institutions or areas outside Jakarta.

"Hopefully in the future with the new governor there will be no more imports related to the employees who occupy the chairman of the SKPD and above," said Inggard in his statement, Monday, April 14.

Inggad emphasized that there are still many ASN DKI Provincial Governments who are qualified to occupy functional and structural positions definitively.

In addition, said Inggad, the functional and structural positions that are still occupied by Plt indicate that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is unprofessional in managing regional staffing.

Inggad also reminded that Article 5 of Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 18 of 2024 concerning the Assignment of Civil Servants as Daily Implementers and Acting Officers mandates that the plt assignment be valid for a maximum of three months.

Thus, the DKI Jakarta Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) needs to immediately follow up on filling positions that are still empty with merit system management.

"We hope that the Merit System carried out by this personnel agency must really be used to make decisions," said Inggad.

"So the BKD has prepared who has the competence to submit a test to serve in the offices or sub-districts and sub-districts," he added.
