JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto greeted the Jordanian fighter pilot via radio communication. This moment took place when the Indonesian presidential plane was being escorted by two fighter planes as it entered the country's territory.

Prabowo, who used the call code "Indonesia-1", expressed his appreciation to the Jordanian fighter pilot with the code "Tiger 101".

"Tiger 101, this is Indonesia-1. I am Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, thank you for accepting and supporting me," Prabowo said in a conversation using English quoted from a broadcast broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat YouTube channel, Antara, Monday, April 14.

The President expressed his gratitude for the acceptance and support given, and conveyed his highest appreciation to the commander of the pilot. "Please convey my greatest appreciation to your commander. Thank you," said the Head of State.

It is known that President Prabowo arrived at Marka Military Airport, Amman, Jordan, on Sunday at 17.56 local time, escorted by two Jordanian fighter planes and greeted by Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.

Based on ANTARA monitoring at the location, two Jordanian Air Force fighter jets were seen escorting the PK-GRD Presidential Aircraft carrying President Prabowo Subianto and his entourage to Marka Airport.

After Prabowo landed, King Abdullah II was waiting not far from the plane's stairs and immediately warmly welcomed President Prabowo who had just finished his previous visit to Doha, Qatar.

Prabowo and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting and witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Al Husseiniya Palace, Amman, Jordan on Monday.

President Prabowo and Jordanian King Abdullah II are scheduled to begin the meeting with a two-on-one discussion (tete-a-tete) followed by a bilateral meeting by each ministerial delegation.

After that, there will be several MoU signings that will be witnessed directly by the two heads of state. The official visit to the Al-Husseiniya Palace will be closed with an official luncheon.

After completing a visit to four countries starting from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Egypt, and Qatar; President Prabowo is scheduled to end his state visit in Amman, Jordan.

Tour President Prabowo to the Middle East region brought the main mission of resolving peace in Gaza, Palestine, including the plan to evacuate Palestinians to Indonesia.

A number of Red and White Cabinet ministers appeared to have arrived in Jordan first, such as Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman, and Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar.
