Arriving In Jordan, King Abdullah II Welcomes Prabowo's Lansung And Even Becomes A Private Driver!

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Marka Military Airport, Amman, Jordan, on Sunday at 17.56 local time escorted by two Jordanian warplanes and greeted by Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.

Based on ANTARA's observations at the location, two warplanes belonging to the Jordanian Air Force were seen escorting the PK-GRD Presidential Plane that brought President Prabowo Subianto and his entourage to Marka Airport.

After Prabowo landed, King Abdullah II had waited not far from the plane's stairs and immediately warmly welcomed President Prabowo, who had just finished his previous visit in Doha, Qatar.

President Prabowo was also greeted with a welcoming ceremony at Marka Airport. The ceremony began with the two leaders entering the pulpit of honor, followed by listening to the national anthem Indonesia Raya and the national anthem Jordan.

After that, King Abdullah II and President Prabowo walked side by side to carry out inspections of troops.

The moment of closeness between the two leaders was seen when King Abdullah II invited President Prabowo to board a joint vehicle to the hotel where the President and his entourage spent the night.

Not only that, Raja Abdullah II even invited President Prabowo to sit in the front seat and be driven directly by the King to the hotel.

Before entering the vehicle, President Prabowo seemed to pay tribute to two Jordanian warplanes that returned to the skies of Marka Airport.

After completing the visit to four countries starting from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Egypt and Qatar; President Prabowo is scheduled to end his state visit in Amman, Jordan.

President Prabowo's visit to the Middle East region brought the main mission of resolving peace in Gaza, Palestine, including plans to evacuate Palestinians to Indonesia.
