Eid Backflow 2025: Vehicle Volume On Cipali Toll Road Increases 57 Percent

CIREBON - The number of vehicles on the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road has begun to increase in the backflow of Lebaran today, Saturday, April 5.

Astra Tol Cipali noted that until 12.00 WIB, there were 57,300 vehicles passing from Cirebon to Jakarta.

According to the Head of the Department of Sustainability & Communication Management of the Cipali Toll Astra Company, Ardam Rafif Trisilo, this number increased by 57% compared to the same time on Friday (4/4/2025) yesterday.

With the increase in the number of vehicles on the Cipali Toll Road in the 2025 Lebaran backflow, Ardam appealed to travelers not to rest on the shoulder of the road.

"Road users are also advised to take advantage of alternatives outside toll gates as a place to rest," Ardam said in a written statement.

Based on ANTARA's monitoring at KM 100 Cipali Toll Road, traffic flow seems to be busy smoothly dominated by private cars.

Vehicles can pass at normal speeds, which is about 80 km per hour to 100 km per hour.

In addition, the rest area condition at KM 102 Tol Cipali was observed to be crowded by travelers who were about to rest. There are no visible queues that are snaking.
