Halim Airport Records 3,471 Homecomers A Day Before Eid Al-Fitr

JAKARTA - Homecoming activity on D-1 Lebaran was observed to begin to decline at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta. The management said that on March 30 or D-1 Eid Al-Fitr 1446 H, the number of travelers who went and came reached 3,741 people.

"On D-1 Lebaran or today from 06.00 - 12.00 WIB as many as 2,463 people made flights, while 1,008 people arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport," said Assistant Manager of Airside Operation & Landside Service Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Alyudha Heru Librawan quoting ANTARA on Sunday, March 30.

He said that the most destinations for this Sunday's flights were Sisingamangaraja XII International Airport in Silangit, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang, and Yogyakarta International Airport.

Alyudha also mentioned that the average aircraft departure time for airlines is almost on time according to schedule.

"The average departure time is about 5-10 minutes from the specified schedule," he said.

Meanwhile, he continued, the peak of the homecoming flow at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport occurred on D-3 Lebaran or on Friday, March 28, with the number of travelers reaching 11,000 people.

Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Jakarta has prepared various facilities, such as additional transportation transportation, free internet, expansion of waiting areas (boarding lounges), as well as additional commercial areas to increase public comfort during Eid homecoming.

In addition to preparing various additional facilities, his party also prepared 41 routine security officers and six additional officers during the Eid holiday period.
