2 Police Cars Targeted By Mass Demonstrations In Bekasi, Crossed Out 'Rejects TNI Bill'

JAKARTA - Two cars from the Bekasi City Metro Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) were targeted by the destruction of demonstrations. The official car was crossed out with the words 'Reject the TNI Bill'.

"One of the cars suffered broken and cracked damage to the front and crossed out around the car's body using a red pilox with the words Rejecting the TNI Bill," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Wednesday, March 26.

The vandalism occurred when a group of mobs held a demonstration against the revision of the TNI Law around Marga Jaya, South Bekasi, Bekasi City, on Tuesday, March 25.

The damage was also carried out on other traffic jams by crossed out. In fact, the scribble contained the phrase "noise".

Ade said that the destruction of the two police service vehicles was carried out when it was parked around the Yan Mega Bekasi Hypermall Post.

"Meanwhile, one other car was damaged due to being crossed out using a red pilox with harsh sentences," said Ade.

Currently, the police are investigating the vandalism. Three witnesses have been questioned to reveal and arrest the perpetrators of the vandalism.

"The vandalism case is handled by the Bekasi City Metro Police," said Ade.
