TANGERANG - Free motorbike and car storage services at the Tangerang City Metro Police Office and 12 police stations will start next week. The public is advised to complete the specified conditions.

Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said, people only need to bring and show their vehicle ownership identity in the form of BPKB/STNK and the owner's ID card so that they can be easily recorded.

"Meanwhile, the implementation of vehicle storage services will start from March 22, 2025, to April 8, 2025," said Zaindi Tangerang, Antara, Sunday, March 16.

Zain said that the free motorbike and car storage program is in accordance with the direction of the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto. Every year Polda Metro Jaya provides free two-wheeled (R-2) and four-wheeled vehicle storage services (R-4) to travelers.

This is done by the National Police so that people avoid motor vehicle theft when empty houses are left behind for Eid homecoming.

This service is a routine annual agenda of the National Police as a servant, protector and protector of the community in their respective jurisdictions.

"The purpose of this free vehicle storage service is to make travelers feel calm, safe and comfortable when leaving their homes and vehicles," he said.
