President Director of INALUM Ilhamsyah Mahendra explained that production realization during 2024 reached 274,230 tons of aluminum, grew 27.6 percent on an annual basis (YoY) and sales were recorded at 276,381 tons, grew 25.6 percent (YoY).

Ilhamsyah said that in the future the company will consistently increase production capacity in order to be able to answer the mandate from the government so that INALUM can increase domestic market control or self-sufficiency in aluminum, with a large demand of up to 1.2 million tons per year.
Meanwhile, Ilhamsyah conveyed that INALUM is currently working to increase the production capacity of the smelter grade alumina refinery (SGAR), whose current alumina production capacity is 1 million tons to 2 million tons.

Ilhamsyah added that the company is also planning to increase its aluminum capacity by 600,000 tons.
