The eight people caught by OTT consisted of Nov, Head of the OKU PUPR Service, three members of the OKU DPRD, namely FE from PDIP, FA from Hanura, and UM from PPP, as well as three ASN within the local office and a contractor. After undergoing examination by KPK investigators at the OKU Police Headquarters, they were dispatched using seven cars to Palembang before being flown to Jakarta.

"This KPK group will go directly to Palembang and will then depart for Jakarta," said the OKU Police Chief.

In addition to arresting these officials, the KPK also secured a sum of money as evidence in this OTT, which was also brought for further processing.

The police chief added that KPK investigators plan to return to Baturaja, OKU Regency, on Monday, March 17, 2025, to conduct a search at the OKU PUPR Service Office.
