CIANJUR - The Cianjur Resort Police, West Java, did not recommend the Puncak II route as an alternative route during the Lebaran 2025 homecoming because many road runway conditions were damaged and there were minimal signs and street lighting.
Head of Cianjur Police Traffic Unit, AKP Hardian Ardianto, said that his party had conducted surveys to a number of alternative routes in a number of areas, from north, east, to the southern through route.

For the Jonggol route, he said, there are a number of notes. Along the route, there are potholes that have begun to be repaired by the relevant agencies, as well as the lack of street lighting and traffic signs.
"Drivers or travelers who want to pass must be careful because of the lack of street lighting and traffic signs that will be coordinated to be added so that Jonggol's alternative road is still feasible for travelers to pass," he said.
His party will improve facilities and security along these routes so that people can have a safe and comfortable route when going home or traveling from Cianjur to Bogor, continued Jakarta or vice versa.
The route, he said, includes the Sukaluyu alternative route through the main southern route of Cianjur. Homecomers can pass this route comfortably even though there is a narrow and congested route in the evening.
AKP Hardian asked motorists to remain vigilant when crossing the route.
For the southern route, Kasatlantas appealed to motorists to obey signs and recommendations from officers when crossing because during extreme weather along the route there are many landslide-prone points.
