Toren Air Murder Victims Known As Dermawan Women, Likes To Give Money Loans To Suspects

JAKARTA - Tjong Sioe Lan alias Enci (59) a murder victim is a philanthropist who often lends money to the suspect Febri Arifin alias Ari alias Jamet alias Bebeb (31).

But unexpectedly, Febri actually had the heart to kill Enci and her son, Eka Serlawati (35).

The murder was carried out using the ritual mode of multiplying money and the search for a match that had been planned by the suspect. Suspect Febri claimed to be a money multiplier shaman under the fake name Kris Martoyo and a match-finding shaman under the fake name Kakang.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi said the perpetrator was one of the routine customers to borrow money from the victim for daily needs from 2021-2025.

Prior to the murder, the perpetrator told the victim that he had a spiritual acquaintance who could double the money and find a mate for the victim's child who was also killed.

"To convince the victim, the perpetrator used two different phone numbers which he claimed were contacts of the shamans claiming to be Kris Martoyo (a shaman who multiplys money) and Kakang (a match-finding shaman)," he said when confirmed, Friday, March 14.

In February 2025, the perpetrator showed the victim some money to be doubled as part of the ritual. On March 1, 2025, the victim and the perpetrator agreed to perform a spiritual ritual at the victim's house at around 12.01 WIB.

Furthermore, Eka Serlawati (35), Enci's child, is also ready to perform a ritual in the bathroom using a sarong. Meanwhile, Enci is in the main room with the money to be doubled.

Communication between the victim and the "conductor" was carried out by telephone. However, during the ritual, the victim was impatient because of the old process and could not produce results.

The victim, Enci, also cursed the suspect with harsh words until the suspect became furious. The suspect then hit the victim's head with an iron rod twice.

It did not stop there, the perpetrator pressed and strangled the victim to death. The suspect also wrapped the raffia rope around the victim's neck.

After killing the victim Enci, the perpetrator cleaned his blood and tried to calm himself down by smoking for 15 minutes in front of the house.

The perpetrator then entered the bathroom and returned to kill the victim Eka, Enci's son. The suspect hit him in the head using the iron used to kill Enci, Eka's mother.

Although the victim had screamed for help, the suspect could again hit and strangled the victim to death. After the two victims died, the perpetrator put their bodies in a toren of water under the refrigerator. Then the suspect cleaned the remaining blood at the scene.

Next, the suspect dropped the trail by turning off the house lights. He also pretended to be an electric maker when he met Roni Effendy, the victim's son, Enci.

In the dark and wearing a mask, the perpetrator said that Roni's mother and sister were out of the house. After Roni left, the suspect then took the money that was previously to be doubled and left the house by locking the door and gate from the inside.

"The suspect threw away evidence of the cellphone resulting from the crime on the Kali Jodoh embankment and fled to Cirebon. In Cirebon, the perpetrator threw away the victim's Infinix cellphone before finally continuing his escape to Banyumas, where he was successfully secured on March 9, 2025," he said.
