National Police Chief Reshuffles Ranks, 1,255 Personnel Transferred

The reshuffle of positions was also stated in six registered Telegram Letters (ST) with number ST/488/III/KEP./2025 to ST/493/III/KEP/2025./2025.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, emphasized that the mutation and rotation were part of the refreshment of the organization and the strategy for institutional strengthening.

"This mutation is a natural thing in the dynamics of the National Police organization. Apart from being a refresher, it is also part of career development to increase member professionalism," Shandi said when confirmed, Thursday, March 13.

In addition, it is said that the mutation of struggle is part of the National Police's strategy to strengthen the organization and increase the effectiveness of performance in various lines.

"We want to ensure that the Police remain solid in facing various security challenges in the future. This mutation is part of a strategy to strengthen the organization to be more professional in serving the community," said Shandi.

In the mutation, the National Police Chief appointed Inspector General Nanang Avianto to serve as East Java Police Chief. The position was known to have been vacant after the previous Regional Police Chief, Komjen Imam Sugianto, received an promotion and position as Main Assistant for Operations.

Then, for the position of the Bengkulu Police Chief, the National Police Chief appointed Brigadier General Mardiyono, who previously served as Head of the National Police Education and Training Center.

Then, the position of the South Sulawesi Police Chief was filled by Inspector General Rusdi Hartono, who previously served as Jambi Police Chief. The position left behind will be occupied by Inspector General Krisno Halomoan Siregar.

In addition to the Kapolda level, the National Police Chief also appointed Inspector General Anwar as Assistant to HR for the National Police Chief to replace Komjen Dedi Prasetyo who was promoted to Irwasum Polri.

Pada mutasi tersebut, Sigit juga menunjuk Irjen Pol Suwondo Nainggolan sebagai Asisten Logistik (Aslog) Kapolri.

Tak hanya itu, sebanyak 57 polisi wanita (Polwan) mendapatkan promosi jabatan, dengan 10 di antaranya menduduki posisi Kapolres. Beberapa nama yang menonjol, yakni, AKBP Kadek Citra Dewi sebagai Kapolres Jembrana; AKBP Veronica sebagai Kapolres Salatiga; dan AKBP Heti Patmawati sebagai Kapolres Lampung Timur.

Polwan memiliki peran yang semakin strategis dalam kepemimpinan di Polri. Promotion ini menunjukkan bahwa Polri terus memberikan ruang bagi Polwan untuk berkembang dan berkontribusi lebih luas, kata Shandi.
