TANGERANG - Director General of Consumer Protection and Trade Order (Dirjen PKTN), Moga Simatupang, together with the National Police Criminal Investigation Task Force conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) at PT Honest Sentosa, Batu Ceper, Tangerang City, on Wednesday, February 12, at 10.00 WIB. This inspection was carried out to ensure that the production of Minyakitata in the company is in accordance with the standards set by the government.

The inspection was led directly by the Head of the National Police Headquarters Food Task Force, Brigadier General. Pol. Helfi Assegaf, as well as the Director General of PKTN of the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, Moga Simatupang. Based on the results of the inspection at the location, from plastic packages (pots) to the volume of doses from MinyaKita produced at PT Honest Sentosa, no violations were found.

"There were no violations found. From the documents owned by PT Honest Sentosa, until the measuring instruments used were in accordance with the standards," Brigadier General Helfi told reporters at the location, Wednesday, March 12.

Helfi also explained that his party checked directly at the production site and ensured that the size produced was in accordance with the set standard, namely 1 liter.

In line with Helfi, Moga Simatupang also emphasized that the results of the examination showed no violations in the production process of Minya Kita at PT Honest Sentosa.

"Well, so far our checking results from both scales and volumes have matched, namely 1 liter," said Moga.

Furthermore, Moga hopes that all parties related to the production of Minya Kita can comply with the rules set by law, both in terms of size and price.

"And we hope that all stakeholders related to the production of Minya Kita will produce according to the size and price set in the law," he added.

Meanwhile, PT Honest Sentosa's Operational Manager, Samuel, explained that the difference between volume and weight of cooking oil is normal.

Based on regulations from the central government, the dose of 1 liter of cooking oil is generally not the same as 1 kilogram due to differences in the type or weight of the type. A reasonable size is about 900 grams to 910 grams. What is considered unreasonable is when it weighs only 700 grams or even 500 grams, even though it is listed in 1 liter, "explained Samuel.
