TANJUNG SELOR In an effort to strengthen the role of community empowerment organizations and encourage sustainable social development, the Governor of North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Zainal A. Paliwang, inaugurated the Chairperson of the PKK Mobilization Team, the Posyandu Development Team, Dekranasda, Bunda PAUD, and the Mother of Literacy Kaltara for the period 2025-2030.

Rahmawati Zainal was inaugurated as Chair of the TP-PKK as well as Chair of the Posyandu Development Team, Chairman of the Dekranasda, Bunda PAUD, and Mother of Literacy in North Kalimantan.

Governor Zainal said the importance of the role of this organization in improving community welfare, building superior human resources, and preserving culture and literacy.

"This mandate is a big responsibility in efforts to create a more prosperous and competitive society. I believe that with dedication and hard work, these organizations will become the government's strategic partners in development," said Zainal A Paliwang, Friday, March 7.

The governor hopes that the role of TP-PKK in supporting health, education, and social welfare programs, as well as appreciating Posyandu's contribution in improving health services for mothers and children.

"Posyandu must continue to be developed as a health service center that is integrated with cadres who are active in providing education to the public," he said.

In addition to the health and social welfare sector, the Governor also reminded the importance of the role of Dekranasda in developing a creative industry based on local wisdom potential.

He hopes that Dekranasda can create innovations in advancing regional handicraft products so that they can compete at the national and international levels.

"In the field of education, Bunda PAUD is expected to ensure quality early childhood education services. Early childhood is a golden period in the formation of children's character and intelligence. Therefore, the role of Bunda PAUD is very crucial in ensuring equitable and quality access to education," he said.

No less important, the Governor also reminded the role of Mother Literacy in increasing the culture of reading and literacy in society.

Good literacy will open insight, increase competitiveness, and create intelligent and innovative generations. I hope literacy programs can reach all levels of society, including in remote areas," he said.

The governor also invited all newly appointed administrators to work with enthusiasm, innovation, and collaboration.
