MenpanRB Reveals BKN Is Preparing Road Map For The Appointment Of CASN 2024

Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenpanRB) Rini Widyantini revealed that the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) is preparing a road map for the simultaneous appointment of prospective state civil servants (CASN) 2024.

"As a guideline for government agencies and all selection participants who have passed, including participants who are currently still following the selection process," said Rini when confirmed by ANTARA from Jakarta, Friday.

He realized that the completion of this simultaneous appointment took time because it had to be done carefully and carefully. For this reason, the Ministry of PANRB and BKN want to ensure the simultaneous appointment of CPNS TMT (starting on date) on October 1, 2025 and PPPK (both stage 1 and stage 2 selection) on March 1, 2026.

Rini emphasized that the adjustment of the schedule for the appointment of CASN 2024 was a joint decision between the government and the DPR RI.

"For selection participants who have passed the selection, they will still be appointed as civil servants and PPPK according to the agreed schedule between the government and the DPR RI," he said.

He said this adjustment was made due to several obstacles faced. First, so far in determining the TMT for the appointment of ASN in each agency is different.

Second, data on formation, position, and placement requires further alignment. Third, some government agencies still need time to complete procurement.

Fourth, there are proposed formations from government agencies that need to be maximized and so on.

The government has held a selection of Candidates for State Civil Apparatus (CASN) in 2024 with a formation of 248,970 for CPNS, and 1,017,111 for PPPK.

CPNS selection has been carried out starting in August 2024. Then, phase I PPPK starting in September 2024, and phase II PPPK in January 2025.
