The evacuation process lasted about 10 minutes before the elderly couple were taken to the evacuation site by boat, along Jalan Cililitan Kecil 1 which had been submerged due to flooding.
Previously, flooding due to the overflow of the Ciliwung River had submerged 12 RTs in East Jakarta since Tuesday morning.
