JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the South Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General (Irjen) Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan to submit a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN). Assistance is ready to be provided if there are difficulties in the process.
This was conveyed by the KPK Spokesperson Team Budi Prasetyo in response to the spotlight on Rosyanto's assets by netizens after his wife and children showed off their wealth on social media.
"KPK is open to providing assistance in filling and reporting if there are problems," Budi told reporters in a written statement quoted on Tuesday, March 4.
Budi said state officials have an obligation to convey their assets to the KPK. This method is referred to as a step to prevent corruption.
Rosyanto is known to have served as the South Kalimantan Police Chief since being inaugurated by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo on November 29, 2024. He has also sat as Deputy Chief of the South Kalimantan Police.
However, he did not report the assets he submitted to the anti-corruption commission. "Based on our database, the person concerned has not submitted it," he said.
The KPK hopes that in the future Rosyanto can deliver his wealth report properly. "Appointment and compliance with completeness," said Budi.
Later, the incoming reports will be published. "Every submission of LHKPN as an instrument for preventing corruption will be carried out administrative analysis," explained Budi.
"Then (it was carried out, red) publications as a form of transparency to the community," he continued.
