Ramadan Comes, DPR Asks The Government To Ensure The Distribution Of Goods Runs Smoothly

The government's preparedness, according to charity, is evidenced by a government statement that will pay close attention to the availability of basic necessities and needs of other communities during Ramadan and Eid. In addition to being available, the government is also trying to keep prices of basic necessities from rising.

"If there is a slight increase, that is normal. It is still included in the market formula. If there is a lot of demand, then prices will increase," Saleh told reporters, Friday, February 28.

In order to fulfill stability and availability, Saleh hopes that the government can ensure that the distribution of goods runs smoothly. The reason is, the recent weather conditions are still uncertain.

"Rain still often dominates. Sometimes, there are many vehicles that are late due to always being careful," said Saleh.

In addition, the Deputy PAN also encouraged the government to continue to inspect the markets. According to Saleh, random market visits are needed to check the price and quality of goods traded.

"Kadang, ada saja spekulan yang mau ambil untung sesaat di waktu seperti ini. Padahal, banyak di antara masyarakat kita yang keuangannya terbatas. Mereka tentu harus diproteksi dan dijaga," katanya.
