"The KPK intensely appealed to state officials and state civil servants (ASN) to refuse gratuities at the first opportunity for gifts that have the potential to have ties to their positions, obligations, or duties," said KPK Spokesperson Team Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, February 26.

Even if they can't refuse, continued Budi, they are required to report immediately. The trick can be through the Gratification Control Unit (UPG) or online through the goal application.kpk.go.id.

Currently, there are 1,958 UPGs in every ministry, institution, and local government. The management is carried out by the inspectorate and internal supervisory units in related agencies.

"Including the DGT environment itself, 503 UPGs have been formed spread across various working areas," he said.

After the receipt report is submitted, UPG will later submit it to the Directorate of Gratification and Public Services (DGPP) of the KPK. "An analysis is needed to determine the status of receiving the gratuity," said Budi.

"Does the status of receiving the gratuity (later, red) belong to the state or to the recipient," he continued.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, KPK telah menetapkan eks Pejabat Ditjen Pajak Muhammad Haniv sebagai tersangka dugaan penerimaan gratifikasi sebesar Rp21.560.840.634. Dari jumlah tersebut, sebanyak Rp804 juta ditujukan untuk mensponsori fashion show merk pakaian pria milik anaknya yakni FH Pour Homme by Feby Haniv.

Selain itu, Haniv diduga menerima gratifikasi lain dalam bentuk valuta asing senilai Rp6.665.006.000 dan penempatan pada deposito BPR Rp14.088.834.634. Sehingga total penerimaan yang dilakukannya mencapai Rp21.560.840.634.

Although it has been announced as a suspect, Haniv has not yet been detained by the KPK. Currently, the KPK is focused on collecting evidence and examining witnesses as well as conducting asset tracing or searching for assets from the proceeds of crimes committed.
