Jakarta Weather Predicted To Be Cloudy All Day, Light Rain On Night

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas of Jakarta will experience light rain on Thursday, February 27 afternoon and evening.

In the morning, the weather in most areas of Jakarta will be cloudy, except for North Jakarta which is expected to experience light rain, while the Thousand Islands is expected to be cloudy.

The temperature is estimated to be around 26 degrees Celsius with an average morning humidity of 83-87%. The wind speed in the morning is estimated to be between 1.3 and 6.2 km per hour.

By noon, light rain is expected to fall in most areas of Jakarta, except in West Jakarta which will experience moderate rain. Central Jakarta, Thousand Islands, and East Jakarta are expected to be cloudy.

Temperatures are estimated to be in the range of 26 to 29 degrees Celsius with humidity of about 76 to 84 %. Wind speeds during the day are estimated to be between 2.5 to 18.1 km per hour.

In the afternoon, most of the weather in the Jakarta area will be cloudy, except in North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands which are expected to be cloudy.

The average temperature is estimated to be between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius with an air humidity of about 75 to 80%. Wind speed is estimated to be between 7.6 and 14.4 km per hour.

At night, the weather in almost all areas of Jakarta will experience light rain, except for North Jakarta which is predicted to be cloudy.

The temperature is estimated to be between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius with the humidity of the night air in the range of 75 to 80%. The speed of the night wind is estimated to range from 3.2 to 8.2 km per hour.

Meanwhile, on Friday morning (28/2/2025), the weather in most areas of Jakarta will experience light rain, except for North Jakarta and East Jakarta which will receive moderate rain.

The Thousand Islands are expected to be cloudy with an average temperature ranging from 25 to 26 degrees Celsius. Air humidity is estimated to be between 85 to 95%, while wind speeds range from 1.4 to 10.8 km per hour.
