JAKARTA - Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar also prayed for the recovery of World Catholic Church leader Pope Francis who is being treated at Gemelli hospital, Rome, since February 14.

"Let's pray for Pope Francis who is being treated at Gemelli Hospital in Rome. May Pope Francis recover quickly," said Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, February 24.

The Minister of Religion's statement was delivered when he was a keynote speaker for the keynote speech at the Peace Forum with Laskar Prabowo 08 in the VIP Room of the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta.

The Minister of Religion assessed the figure of the Pope who is an extraordinary human friend. Pope Francis has devoted himself to the people, donated himself to humanity.
