Prabowo Affirms Danantara Is Managed Full Of CARE, Transparent And Can Be Audited

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that Indonesian Danantara must be managed with full care, prioritize transparency, and can be audited by anyone.

"Danantara Indonesia untuk itu harus dikelola dengan sebaik-baiknya, dengan sangat hati-hati, dengan sangat transparan, dengan saling mengawasi saling, harus bisa diaudit setiap saat oleh siapapun," ujar Prabowo dalam peluncuran Badan Pengelola Investasi Danantara Indonesia di Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, Antara, Senin, 24 Februari.

The President said that the funds managed by Danantara belonged to the descendants and future generations of the Indonesian nation. Prabowo expressed his belief that with Danantara, Indonesia will continue to move forward, become stronger, and be more united than before.

"With this belief, let's move together, unite in goal, be steadfast in determination, and believe that Indonesia's greatest achievement is still ahead of us," said the President.

The Head of State also expressed his appreciation to all parties who have worked hard to realize the Indonesian Antara.

He called Danantara a milestone in Indonesia's journey towards economic independence, resilience, and prosperity.

Danantara, which is an acronym for "Daya Anagata Nusantara", which means energy and future strength for Indonesia, is expected to be a valuable legacy for the nation's children and grandchildren.

"Ladies and gentlemen, believe me, Indonesia will achieve its ideals. We will become a developed country, a prosperous country, an honorable country," concluded the President.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto together with the 7th president of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and the 6th president of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono pressed the button together while officially launching the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) at the Presidential Palace Jakarta, Monday.

"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this afternoon, Monday, February 24, 2025, I am the President of the Republic of Indonesia launching the Anagata Nusantara Indonesia Power Investment Management Agency," said President Prabowo, who then continued to press the inauguration button.

Prabowo said that Danantara as the state wealth fund or Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund will manage assets worth more than 900 billion US dollars with an initial projected fund of 20 billion US dollars.
