JAKARTA Allegations of fraud in the 2024 Bungo Regional Head Election (Pilkada) are getting stronger after new evidence was revealed in the trial at the Constitutional Court (MK). The lawsuit on the results of the Pilkada by the candidate pair for Regent and Deputy Regent Bungo number 1, H. Dedy Putra and Tri Wahyu Hidayat, is now entering the final stage.

After the follow-up trial on Monday 17 February, the Dedy-Dayat legal team is now waiting for the Constitutional Court's decision to be scheduled for Monday (24/2/2025).

Evidence Of The Fraud Of The Bungo Regional Head Election In Court

Dedy-Dayat's attorney, Dhimas Pradana, revealed that in the first trial of evidence on February 14, 2025, the judge ordered further evidence. The respondent is required to present a ballot box from five polling stations (TPS), namely:

Polling Station 6 CadikatPS 1 BedaroTPS 2 BedaroTPS 1 Rantau TiputPS 1 Rantau Ikil

This ballot box was presented to ensure the purity of the voting results. However, various violations were found, including the presence of inmates who continued to exercise their voting rights at the domicile polling station.

The Bungo Pilkada Voice Box Is Not Sealed

In a follow-up hearing on February 17, 2025, a surprising fact was revealed: the ballot box from TPS 6 Cadika presented at the Constitutional Court was in an unstealed condition.

"When this ballot box was about to be brought to the Constitutional Court, it was discovered that the seal was already open," said Dhimas.

Furthermore, on February 15, 2025, the Central Rimbo District Election Committee (PPK) was asked by the Bungo KPU to sign Minutes Number 1438/BA-Log/1508/2024. The document dated November 30, 2024, states that ballot boxes have not been sealed since being handed over from PPK to KPU before the district level recapitulation plenary.

However, irregularities arose when the applicant confirmed directly to two members of Central Rimbo PPK, Rizkia Dwi Oktadini and M. Rudy Harianto. Rizkia confirmed that he had never signed the minutes, while Rudy admitted that the ballot boxes were sealed when stored in the KPU warehouse.

In addition, when the polling house 6 Cadika was opened in court and matched with the recording of the voting video, 11 identical ballots were found which were filed in the same place as the video that had gone viral.

Meanwhile, at the other four polling stations, the Constitutional Court judges ordered the taking of the attendance list for further investigation. When asked about this irregularity, the respondent argued that some voters at TPS 1 and 2 Bedaro could not sign the list themselves due to flooding.

"There is also a reason that 2-3 elderly voters are blind so that they are assisted by the KPPS to sign the attendance list," said Dhimas.

Optimism Of The Dedy-Dayat Legal Team

The Dedy-Dayat legal team stated that it had submitted nearly 400 pieces of evidence to the Panel II Panel Panel Panel to confirm the lawsuit.

"This evidence can be watched by the Bungo community, that it is true that there has been maladministration by the KPU and its staff," he said.

Furthermore, he is optimistic that the constitutional judge can judge the fraud committed by candidate pair 02 with the support of the KPU.

"We hope that the Constitutional Court can prove the honesty of the organizers of the Bungo Regional Election and make a fair decision in order to maintain democracy in Bungo Regency," concluded Dhimas.
