BATOLA - Regent of Barito Kuala (Batola) South Kalimantan Province Bahrul Ilmi said that the retreat was an important opportunity to exchange experiences and strategies with other regional heads.

"This retreat is a momentum to strengthen the vision of regional development, share experiences, and gain new insights to improve services to the community," said Bahrul Ilmi confirmed in Marabahan, Batola Regency, South Kalimantan Saturday.

According to him, the event was attended by around 456 regional heads from various regions in Indonesia.

"Various strategic topics will be discussed, including public service innovation, good governance, and sustainable development strategies," he said.

In addition to discussion sessions and material presentations from experienced resource persons, such as Governor Lemhannas and ministers, Bahrul said, the retreat will also be filled with reflection sessions and leadership character development.

"This activity can provide great benefits for regional heads in developing policies that are more effective and in favor of the interests of the community," said Bahrul.

Bahrul also hopes that the results of the retreat can be implemented in Batola Regency, so that it can have a positive impact on the welfare of the community.

The regional head recruitment took place at the Military Academy, Magelang, Central Java on February 21-28, 2025.
