Former President Director Of Pertamina Dwi Soetjipto Was Targeted By The KPK Regarding The Sale And Purchase Of PGN Gas

JAKARTA - Former President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), Dwi Soetjipto has undergone examination as a witness at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta today, Tuesday, February 18.

He admitted that investigators were being questioned regarding the sale and purchase of gas at PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) with PT Inti Alasindo Energi (IAE).

"I was in the problem of selling PGN's gas and fuel to PT Alasindo Energi," Dwi told reporters at the location.

Dwi chose not to talk much about his examination. He even admitted that he forgot about the material and the number of investigators' questions.

"I don't know, I don't know, I don't beg," he said.

Meanwhile, Dwi was questioned with Elia Massa Manik as the President Director of PT Pertamina for the 2017-2018 period. The two arrived at the anti-corruption commission office at around 10.04 WIB.

Apart from Dwi and Elia, investigators also scheduled an examination of Edwin Hidayat Abdullah as Deputy for Energy, Logistics, Region and Tourism for the 2015-2019 period as well as Commissioner of PT Pertamina for the 2016-2018 period and Fajar Harry Sampurno as Deputy for Mining Business, Strategic Industry and Media for the 2015-2019 period as well as Commissioner of PT PGN for the 2016-2018 period.

Previously reported, the KPK on May 13, 2024 announced that it had started an investigation into the alleged corruption case at PT PGN Tbk. in the 2018-2020 fiscal year. The investigation into the alleged corruption case was based on the results of an audit by the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

The alleged corruption occurred in the process of buying and selling gas between PT PGN and a company with the initials PT IG in 2018-2020 and is said to have caused state finances of up to hundreds of billions of rupiah.

The KPK has also asked the Directorate General of Immigration for two people abroad. Based on information, they are Danny Praditya who is the Commercial Director of PT PGN for the 2016-2019 period and serves as President Director of PT Inalum and Iswan Ibrahim who is the President Director of PT Isargas.
