Teenage Girls In Jombang Found Dead Floating When They Want COD, Suspected Of Being Robbery Victims

The Jombang Police, East Java, is investigating the death of a teenage girl who is suspected of being a victim of a robbery, because her motorcycle and cell phone were not found.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jombang Police, AKP Margono Suhendra, said that his party was still investigating this case.

The victim died with the initials PRA (18) a resident of Dusun/Village Sebani, Sumobito District, Jombang Regency. The victim's body was found floating in the river flow of Boyfriend Hugung Village, Megaluh District, Jombang.

"We received a report that a woman's body was found. We secured the body and took it to the hospital for an autopsy," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 11.

From the autopsy results, it was found that there were lacerations to the head due to blunt objects. There are also indications of a collision in the stomach that could result in death.

He explained, from the autopsy results before the victim died drowning, he was still alive. Allegedly, he was weak, then died drowning.

His party is still investigating the victim's motorbike and cell phone which until now have not been found.

The police have examined five witnesses, namely from residents who found the victim first floating in the river of Boyfriend Hugung Village, Megaluh District, Jombang Regency, and the victim's schoolmate.

He explained that the victim was still in high school in Jombang. To the family, the victim's permission for COD (cash on delivery / cash payment on the spot), but what goods and with whom there is no clarity. The victim is located in Dusun / Sebani Village, Sumobito District, Jombang Regency.

"From the results of the examination of the family, yesterday the victim was given permission to leave. He did not say who he met. The victim's COD permit and the witness said he (the victim) did not contact (the family) when he left," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim's uncle, Suwari, said that his request was permission to go to COD on Monday (10/2) afternoon. At that time, the victim's father also advised not to come home too late.

The family, he said, was starting to worry because the victim's cell phone could not be contacted. The family called several times starting at 19.00 WIB but still couldn't. Until then around 01.00 WIB, when the call was connected but it was not answered.

"Between 01.00 WIB, it was active but was not picked up until late. And this morning there was just news (finding the body)," he said.

He also did not understand what COD was. However, when he left he was riding a Vario motorcycle.

Head of Dusun Boyfriend embracing, Widyawanto Adi Chandra said when the victim was found he was still wearing a complete shirt, namely orange clothes, pantsleng.

There were also scars on the victim's body. When the victim was raised from the river, his mouth was bleeding and foam.

"The characteristics are black luring, long hair, orange clothes. Necklace jewelry, rings, there are, no earrings. If the condition of the body is still not blue," said Adi Chandra.

Until now, the police are still investigating the case.
