Not Paid For 4 Months, Debtor Hits Debt Collector's Head With Iron When Billed To His House

JAKARTA - A woman and a group of debt collectors were ganged up by debtors while collecting debts at her home in the Jalan Matraman area within 1, RT 02/08, Pegangsaan Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta.

The victim with the initials R alias A reported the incident to the Menteng Metro Police. The victim has also undergone an examination by the Menteng Metro Police investigation team.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Menteng Metro Police, AKP Marganda Siahaan, confirmed that the victim had made a police report.

"Initially, the mother with the initials A from the NSC Finance leasing and the debt collector wanted to collect the debtor from the Matraman residents. The bill was in the form of a motorcycle arrears bill," said AKP Marganda when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, February 5, afternoon.

Apparently, the arrival of the debt collector made the debtor furious. Even though the debtor has been in arrears for 4 months.

"The motorcycle collection has been in arrears for 4 months," he said.

Debtor in an angry condition also went berserk. Then the debtor hit victim A's head.

"Arriving at her husband's house, the debtor was angry and hit A's mother with iron and chased another debt collector," he said.

After making a report at the Menteng Metro Police, the victim will conduct a Visum et Repertum at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) Jakarta.

"Currently, a post-mortem will be made to the RSCM," he said.
