DKI Provincial Government Plans To Add Requirements For KJP Recipients With A Minimum Report Card Value Of 70

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Education Office plans to add students who are included in the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus recipients, namely having a report card or learning results achievement with an average low value of 70.

This discourse was conveyed by the Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Sarjoko, in a working meeting with Commission E of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

"One of the criteria specifically as the latest regulated KJP Plus recipients is related to student achievement indexes or the average report card. The average report card is at least 70 in 2 consecutive semesters," said Sarjoko at the DKI Jakarta Building, Monday, February 3.

Meanwhile, other requirements for obtaining KJP Plus are no different from before. Among them are students aged 6 years to the age of 21 (twenty-first) years, localized as public or private school students in Jakarta, and have a population identification number (NIK) and live in Jakarta.

Then, the KJP Plus penerjma must also meet special criteria as recipients of social assistance, such as being registered in integrated social welfare data that can be matched with other data sources or are children of social institutions.

"The other conditions are still the same and this also needs to change Pergub Number 110 of 2021 which is the basis for the implementation of the KJP Plus program," said Sarjoko.

Sarjoko admitted that the discourse on adding the requirements for KJP Plus recipients came from the results of a meeting between the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government and the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno transition team.

Bearing in mind, the distribution of KJP Plus phase 1 2025 will be disbursed after Pramono-Rano was inaugurated as Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta, namely in March 2025 for the celebrations in January, February and March.

"In line with almost the past month we, Disdik and also friends from other SKPDs in a marathon meeting with the elected governor and deputy governor transition team, related to plans to implement the priority policies of the elected governor and deputy governor," said Sarjoko.

For information, the DKI Provincial Government has allocated a KJP Plus budget in the 2025 APBD of IDR 2.05 trillion to be distributed to 445,994 students for a year.

Meanwhile, the total KJP Plus budget requirement was recorded during 2025 for 705,332 students. Thus, the DKI Provincial Government plans to propose an additional budget of IDR 1.19 trillion in changes to the 2025 APBD.
