TANGERANG - Member of Kompolnas Choirul Anam opened his voice about the alleged former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police (Jaksel) AKBP Bintoro was accused of extorting Rp20 billion from the son of the Prodia laboratory clinic network boss by Indonesia Police Watch (IPW).

"We will investigate, pay attention to this case," Anam said when confirmed, Tuesday, January 28.

He also explained that in this case there were several notes ranging from the lawsuit to the rebuttal of the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"The first is indeed an accusation against this despicable behavior, it is also being tested in early January, an attempt is being made to file a civil lawsuit with an unlawful act against AKBP Bintoro and other police officers, including non-police officers, so there are several people," he said.

"The second also contains rebuttals through a video made by AKBP Bintoro himself, which explains the sitting case, and even dares to invite checking at home, whether there is really that much money and so on," he continued.

Therefore, he is still waiting for further investigation from the Propam Polda Metro Jaya regarding the allegations that ensnared the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro and his colleagues.

If in the investigation, it is proven to have committed an alleged violation, it will be processed with an ethics trial. The goal is to prevent similar incidents from happening.

"When there was indeed an alleged ethical violation by a member of the police, AKBP Bintoro and his colleagues, as in the lawsuit, I don't think there was any other choice except for the ethical trial there. tested there. It was explained there," he said.

"When there is a decomposition there, tested there, I think this will contribute greatly to the light of the incident. And if there is such a disgraceful act, it is proven, and there are actions of criminal indications, it must be punished," he added.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya had investigated the extortion case allegedly committed by the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Bintoro against two suspects in the murder case, Arif Nugroho (AN) alias Bastian and Muhammad Bayu Hartanto.

"Following up on this information, Polda Metro Jaya is currently investigating Bidpropam," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi.

The Profession and Security Division (Bidpropam) of the Polda Metro Jaya has detained the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Bintoro in connection with the alleged extortion of two suspects in the murder case, Arif Nugroho (AN) alias Bastian and Muhammad Bayu Hartanto.

"We have handled it from Saturday and at the same time we have detained it at the Metro Jaya Police Internal Security (Paminal)," said Head of Propam Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Radjo Alriadi Harahap.
