Fuso Truck Loss Of Control After Breaking Tires On Cipularang Toll Road, Gencet Minibus On Median Street

PURWAKARTA - A ringsek Avanza minibus vehicle was hit by a Fuso truck on the median road in an accident that occurred on the Cipularang KM 80+400 Toll Road towards Bandung.

Senior Manager Representative Office 3 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division Agni Mayvinna said, after learning the officer's accident information went directly to the location to evacuate and regulate traffic.

An accident involving a Fuso truck with the number Z 9109 KA and an Avanza car with the number D 1013 VDC occurred when the two vehicles drove from Jakarta to Bandung.

In accordance with the information from officers in the field, he said, the accident allegedly occurred after a truck traveling in the slow lane had a tire burst on the right side.

As a result of this incident, the driver was unable to control the speed of the truck and hit the mini bus which was in lane two.

"The two vehicles are located on the median road," he explained in a statement received in Purwakarta, West Java, Antara, Wednesday, January 22.

Agni said that there were no casualties in the accident that occurred at 09.16 WIB. However, the traffic flow was disrupted and immediately addressed by officers.

It was stated that Jasamarga officers and the police immediately arrived at the scene to evacuate and regulate traffic, so that at 09.55 WIB, all lanes were open and normal for road users to return to normal.

The vehicles involved in the accident were evacuated and then handed over to the police for further processing.

Agni appealed to road users to increase focus and vigilance while driving by not using a device and maintaining a safe distance from the surrounding vehicles.

"Let's anticipate if you pass or are close to large vehicles such as trucks and buses, especially when passing on the Cipularang Toll Road," he said.
