British Reasons For Banning TikTok From Being Used

A TikTok spokesman also said that this ban occurred due to misconception and geopolitical reasons.

"We believe this ban is based on fundamental misconceptions and is controlled by broader geopolitics where TikTok and millions of our users are not involved," said a TikTok spokesperson.

The company also affirms their commitment to collaborating with the government to review all existing concerns.

"We remain committed to working with the government to review every concern. But it must be based on the same facts and treatment of our competitors," he added.
