Three street children in the Karawang Regency, West Java, were found dead after drinking mixed alcoholic beverages.

Head of Public Relations of the Karawang Police, Ipda Solikhin, said that the three street children were found lifeless in two different places in the Karawang area.

"They died because they were suspected of consuming 70 percent of adulterated alcoholic beverages mixed with energy drinks," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, January 20.

He said the emergence of victims of mixed alcoholic beverages occurred for two consecutive days, from Saturday (18/1) to Sunday (19/1) in two different places.

The first incident occurred in Cengkong Village, Purwasari District, where two people died after an alcoholic drink party. One day later another person was found dead in an overhang of a shop in South Cikampek Village, Cikampek District.

"The victim was found by the community in the morning, after the previous night allegedly drinking mixed alcoholic beverages," said Solikhin.

The first incident has killed two street children, each with the initials A (18) who is a woman, and R (20) a boy. Then the next day an unidentified boy was found in the overhang of the shop.
