The Attorney General's Office (AGO) said the value of state losses caused by cases of alleged corruption in sugar imports at the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) for the 2015-2016 period reached Rp578 billion.

"How much? Based on the results of the calculation of state losses by BPKP, it is IDR 578,105,411,622.47," said the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Abdul Qohar, to reporters, Monday, January 20.
