JAKARTA - Member of Commission II of the DPR Mohammad Toha assessed that improving the political system by revising the Political Law package was a challenge for President Prabowo Subianto's government.

"Regional autonomy is actually also at the district and city levels. Not at the provincial level. So there needs to be direct regional elections at the governor's level, it's enough through the DPRD," he explained.
The Central Java electoral district legislator said that the improvement of the political system could be done by revising the Political Law package through the omnibus law system which would combine many laws, such as the Election Law, Pilkada, Political Parties, and other laws.
