Iranian Military Receives 1,000 Stealth Strategic Drones: High Damage, Capable Of Traveling 2,000 Kilometers

JAKARTA - The Iranian military this week received around 1,000 strategic drones and domestically made stealth with high destructive power.

The planes, which have been designed and produced in cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the military, were distributed simultaneously in several regions of the country on Monday, quoted from IRNA January 15.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) can fly at a distance of more than 2,000 kilometers. This UAV has a high flight duration and a high destructive power.

Not only that, Iran's newest drone is also claimed to be able to evade the defense layer thanks to a low-level Radar Cross Section (RCS).

The handover ceremony was led directly by the Iranian Military Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, attended by Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, quoted from Tasnim.

It said the drone was designed for special missions, improving border reconnaissance and monitoring capabilities, as well as strengthening the Army's long-range attack power against long targets.

The UAV, designed by Defense Ministry experts, includes multipurpose Ababil-4 and Ababil-5 strategic drones that can be used for reconnaissance, patrol missions, electronic warfare, data collection and air combat.

The Army has also received a new Arash drone, which can carry out remote suicide missions with very high accuracy.

The day before, Deputy Commander of the Iranian Army for Coordination Affairs Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said the military would receive new strategic equipment in the coming days.
