The Certificate Of The Kasuari Military Commander, Kodam Is Still Waiting For The TNI Headquarters Instruction

JAKARTA - The XVIII/Kasuari Military Regional Command is still waiting for instructions from the Army Headquarters (AD) regarding the implementation of the handover of the position (sertijab) of the Kodam Commander (Pangdam) from Major General Haryanto to Major General Jimmy Ramoz Manalu.

This was said by the Head of Information for Kodam (Kapendam) XVIII/Kasuari Colonel Infantry Syawaludin Abuhasan during the commemoration of the 8th Anniversary of Kodam XVIII/Kasuari in Manokwari, West Papua, Wednesday, January 15.

Kapendam said that the change of position of Pangdam XVIII/Kasuari along with hundreds of other high-ranking TNI officers was stated in the Decree of the TNI Commander General Agus Subianto Number Kep/7/I/2025 dated January 3, 2025.

"For the implementation of the handover of positions, in principle the Kodam is waiting for orders from the top command (TNI Headquarters)," said Abuhasan, confiscated by Antara.

Based on the decision of the TNI Commander, Pangdam XVIII/Kasuari Major General TNI Haryanto was transferred with a new position as Pati for Level III Experts Kasad for the Development of Soldier Moril Welfare.

The position of Pangdam XVIII/Kasuari was held by Major General TNI Jimmy Ramoz Manalu, who was previously the Chief of Staff of the Joint Defense Area Command (Kogabwilhan) I Tanjung Pinang.

"So, basically we are waiting for directions from the TNI Headquarters, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow if ordered to hand over the position, yes we are ready to carry out orders," said Kapendam.

In the momentum of celebrating the 8th Anniversary of Kodam XVIII, Pangdam XVIII/Kasuari Major General TNI Haryanto said goodbye to the Acting Governor of West Papua, Acting Governor of Southwest Papua, and all stakeholders.

"My sprint has gone down, I beg you to say goodbye and maybe at the end of January I will leave. My replacement is Major General TNI Jimmy Manalu from the class 93," said Haryanto.

It should be noted that TNI Major General Haryanto officially serves as Pangdam XVIII/Kasuari replacing Major General TNI Ilyas Alamsyah Harahap as of March 22, 2024 based on the Decree of the TNI Commander Number Kep/329/III/2024.
