After The Death Of A Resident, The Regional Secretary Asked The Apparatus To Investigate The Increase In Forests In Mukomuko

JAKARTA - Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province, Abdiyanto asked law enforcement officials to investigate additional forests in his area.

Abdiyanto conveyed that this act damaged the ecosystem and made tigers lose their habitat.

"We agree that this matter was thoroughly investigated by law enforcement officers, because this act made tigers descend into residential areas," said Abdiyanto in Mukomuko, Wednesday, January 15, confiscated by Antrara.

He said this after a resident of Tunggal Jaya Village, Teras Terunjam District, named Ibnu Oktavianto (22) was found dead in Ari Cahyono's oil palm plantation on Tuesday, January 7.

Then, one cow belonging to Deden Nurjamil, a resident of Mekar Jaya Village, Teras Terunjam District, which borders Tunggal Jaya Village, was also found dead as a result of being eaten by a tiger.

According to him, why tigers enter residential areas in this area due to their habitat being disturbed, the forest that has been their habitat has been added by the responsible party.

Regarding the appearance of wild animals in this area, he said, it is disturbing to residents, especially since there have been victims of a resident and one cow, and all of this cannot be separated from the impact of forest expansion by irresponsible people.

For that, he said, the solution is also forest just how to catch the wild animal, but how to ensure that the habitat of wild animals is well maintained and preserved so that wild animals do not leave their habitat.

Furthermore, he also invited all related parties to synergize in preventing additional forest areas so that there would be no conflicts between tigers and humans in this area.
