BANDARLAMPUNG - Bandarlampung City Government has confirmed that a number of sidewalks on several road sections made of ceramics will be replaced with fire this year.

"This year we are planning to replace the ceramic sidewalk with ceramic materials," said Head of the Bandarlampung City Public Works (PU) Office, Dedi Sutioso, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 13.

He said some roads such as Diponegoro Street, on Teluk Betung Utara District Road and on Hiu Fish Road in South Betung Bay, the sidewalks had been replaced with protective materials.

"Yes, some of the roads that were previously ceramics have been replaced with more disability-friendly buildings," he said.

The sidewalks that will be replaced with fire this year are on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Jalan Dr Susilo and also Jalan Sudirman.

"If I'm not mistaken, the three roads will be repaired first," he said

According to him, the Bandarlampung City Government has planned to repair all ceramic sidewalks in the city with broken materials because some parts have been damaged.

"Indeed, we have a plan to replace the colorful ceramic sidewalks. But indeed, we are currently in the planning of how much budget is needed," he said.
