Bogor Police Secure 103 Football Supporters Involved In Clashes On The Jagorawi Toll Road

JAKARTA - The Bogor Resort Police (Polres), West Java, secured 103 football supporters involved in clashes at KM 21 Jagorawi Toll Road, Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, West Java, Sunday (12/1) night.

"So last night we secured 103 supporters from PSIS (Indonesian Football Association Semarang)," said Bogor Police Chief AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro as reported by ANTARA, Monday, January 13.

The PSIS supporters who boarded the two buses were secured to the Bogor Police Office for inspection and guidance.

In fact, PSIS supporters are not allowed to attend the League 1 match, Persita against PSIS at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Sunday (12/1) evening.

PSIS supporters initially tried to enter Pakansari Stadium on Sunday afternoon. However, they were successfully intercepted by the committee and officers so that the bus carrying turned back to the Jagorawi Toll Road

Rio explained that the clash between the two supporters occurred at 18.49 WIB after the match between Persita Tangerang and PSIS Semarang with a score of 2-1.

"Indeed, they (PSIS supporters) initially carried out sweeps or raids on Persita supporters," said Rio.

The clashes, which were colored with stone sheets, wood and the use of firecrackers, resulted in four PSIS Semarang supporters being injured.

"There were victims from the PSIS side, where we took them to the hospital and now they have been checked again, the victim has been examined," he said.

Four supporters suffered a number of injuries to their bodies due to being hit by stones.

"The wound of the pile of stone and abrasions on the leg, treatment has been carried out and earlier the person concerned has returned to undergo examination," said Rio.
