JAKARTA - Food prices generally fall this Saturday, according to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas). Red cayenne pepper is IDR 70,730 per kilogram (kg) and shallots are IDR 37,800 per kg.

Based on data from the Bapanas Price Panel in Jakarta, at 09.20 WIB, reported by ANTARA, in general food prices at the retail level nationally, premium rice fell 0.58 percent or Rp90 to Rp15,400 per kg.

Then medium rice also decreased by 1.62 percent or Rp220 to Rp13,360 per kg; as well as rice from the Bulog supply stability program and food prices (SPHP) decreased by 0.48 percent or Rp60 to Rp12,440 per kg.

Furthermore, the onion commodity was observed to fall 5.92 percent or Rp2,380 to Rp37,800 per kg; as well as garlic down 0.05 percent or Rp20 to Rp42,440 per kg.

Then, the price of curly red chili commodities also fell to 8.83 percent or Rp4,530 to Rp46,760 per kg; then red cayenne pepper also fell 3.86 percent or Rp2,840 to Rp70,730 per kg.

Meanwhile, the price of pure beef rose 0.27 percent or Rp360 to Rp135,270 per kg; while the price of pure beef fell 1.61 percent or Rp600 to Rp36,760 per kg; as well as chicken eggs fell 1.55 percent or Rp470 to Rp29,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, the dried soybean (import) commodity was observed to have increased by 0.48 percent or Rp50 to Rp10,370 per kg; while consumption of sugar fell 0.89 percent or Rp160 to Rp17,830 per kg.

Furthermore, simple packaged cooking oil rose 0.52 percent or Rp100 to Rp19,420 per kg; in contrast to bulk cooking oil, it fell by 1.54 percent or Rp270 to Rp17,230 per kg.

Then the flour commodity fell 1.43 percent or Rp140 to Rp9,630 per kg; as well as non-inflictional flour also decreased 3.21 percent or Rp410 to Rp12,370 per kg.

Next, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased by 5.48 percent or Rp. 290 to Rp. 6,040 per kg; then the price of fine salt with sodium also fell by 2.46 percent or Rp. 280 to Rp. 11,110 per kg.

Then, the price of convex fish was observed to increase by 3.53 percent or Rp1,390 to Rp40,760 per kg; then tuna fish also rose 1.51 percent or Rp490 to Rp33,010 per kg; while milkfish fell 5.32 percent or Rp1,760 to Rp31,310 per kg.
