JAKARTA After receiving the results of the recapitulation of the Jakarta Regional General Election Commission (KPUD) which appointed Pramono Anung-Rano Karno as the winner of the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada, the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) pair expressed the aspirations of the citizens they had collected during the campaign period.

"We have permission to entrust the aspirations that come to the RIDO pair," said Ridwan Kamil in a press conference held at the Golkar DPD, Friday, December 13.

Kang Emil, Ridwan Kamil's nickname, said that the aspirations were important to convey to Pramono-Rano because nearly 40 percent of voters in Jakarta had entrusted their votes to RIDO.

"Of course, this is very big and must pay attention to his aspirations in the development of Jakarta in the next five years," he added.

Ridwan Kamil also emphasized that the RIDO pair had made an effort to contribute to the good and dignified Jakarta Pilkada. He said that his political journey in the Pilkada was a valuable experience.

"Sata-sata ini karena Pilkada Jakarta diberikan masukan kepada kami oleh orang tua, tokoh agama, alim ulama, dan tokoh masyarakat lainnya agar menjadi kontestasi yang mencerminkan peadanan, khususnya bagi RIDO," ujarnya.

He also expressed his gratitude to all parties who have supported the RIDO pair, including the supporting parties, volunteers, community organizations, internal teams, and community leaders who have jointly fought for their vision.

"We apologize if there is a shortage or mistake that occurred in the Pilkada process," concluded Kang Emil.

KPUD Jakarta previously determined pair number three, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, as the winner of the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada with a vote of 50.7 percent. This pair outperformed the other pair and won the Pilkada in one round.
