JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDIP DPP, Deddy Sitorus, highlighted the involvement of the Chocolate Party in the implementation of the 2024 Pilkada after his party admitted that they found that there were police officers in various regions involved in the regional elections.

According to him, institutionally, the National Police has the power to mobilize its members to go down to the grassroots, including officials at the sub-district and village levels to direct the public or voters to certain candidates.

He considered that the briefing by Polri personnel to officials at the sub-district and village levels could be carried out in a smooth manner, or with a legal threat. If it is smooth, it cannot be (directed), yes, of course with pressure (law cases). In such ways, community support can be centered on certain candidates," added Dedi.
